“I might take a train, I might take a plane, but if I have to walk, I know I'm gonna see Jo Serrapere again. Like anybody else who might make you laugh and cry in the same song, she's too good to pass up.”
— Dave Marsh, music critic, author of Born to Run: The Bruce Springsteen Story and former editor of Creem & Rolling Stone magazines.
We appreciate any donations for virtual live performances. Thank you so much!

LUNCHTIME ACTIVITY in MEDINAH - Songs of Healing and Light
Jo Serrapere has maintained both a clinical psychology practice and a performing songwriter career for over 30 years. She has performed on National Public Radio's A Prairie Home Companion as well as at the Kennedy Center's Millennial Stage in Washington, DC. Her most recent recordings touch on her experience of moving from an early life with clinical depression toward healing transcendent experiences into adulthood. She credits having read Raymond Moody's book, Life After Life, as contributing to the realization of her having had two near-death-like experiences at ages 5 and 10 years old. These experiences, along with having an out-of-body experience in her 30s, have shaped the direction of her life toward interest in near-death studies research, mediumship, and a continued resilience in facing deep challenges in her life.
