“I might take a train, I might take a plane, but if I have to walk, I know I'm gonna see Jo Serrapere again. Like anybody else who might make you laugh and cry in the same song, she's too good to pass up.”
— Dave Marsh, music critic, author of Born to Run: The Bruce Springsteen Story and former editor of Creem & Rolling Stone magazines.
We appreciate any donations for virtual live performances. Thank you so much!

On the Tracks Songwriter Showcase at the Historic Chelsea Depot, 125 Jackson St., Chelsea, MI
Join Stella! at this wonderful and unique concert experience. An unquenchable thirst for great songwriting combined with a love for the vessels who bring them to life – the songwriters – is the driving force behind ON THE TRACKS Songwriter Showcase. It was founded to bring our favorite writers to our neck of the woods by providing a venue to showcase their incredible gifts. What makes this series unique is our focus on the songwriting. Our featured performers will be sharing insight into their inspirations and methods, the practical and magical process by which their songs come to life. You’ll hear lots of great songs of course, but you’ll also learn a little something about the art and craft of songwriting.

Jo and Michelle met behind a taco stand in a back alley of Southwest Detroit. In between chimichangas and tequila shots, they discovered they had a bit in common musically and thought they’d make a go of it because they could use the cash. This was preferable to the mobile poodle grooming and pet memorial tattooing operation they first considered. Come on out and see these two sing songs of the human condition, harmonizing and spinning tales of exquisite beauty and rank despair.
